Shield Not Appearing Lowered

If your shield isn't positioned by your side, check these common issues:

1. Confirm the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack menu

2. Ensure your shield is in your off-hand slot (right side of your hotbar)

3. Check that you're in first-person view—the lowered position is designed for this perspective

4. Verify the shield isn't actively blocking (raised shields will always appear in front)
