Enable Shield by Side for Both Hands

Dual Shield Setup

Shield by Side automatically applies to shields held in your off-hand. If you want to use shields in both hands, the resource pack will position both shields down by your sides for an unobstructed view.

How to Use

1. Place a shield in your off-hand slot (the slot to the right of your main hand in your hotbar)

2. Hold a second shield in your main hand

3. Both shields will now render lowered by your sides instead of blocking your center screen

4. Your blocking mechanics remain unchanged—raise your shield normally to block incoming damage

Benefits

This setup is particularly useful in PvP situations or when exploring dangerous areas where you need maximum visibility while maintaining defensive capability. The lowered positioning matches your third-person appearance, so your character looks consistent from any viewing angle. You can freely switch between your two shields and other items without losing the visual benefit of the resource pack.
