Do I need to do anything after installing the pack or does it work automatically?
The pack works automatically once installed and selected in your resource pack list. Simply load a world and all vanilla swords will display with the shorter blade design.
Will short swords do less damage than normal swords?
No, this is purely a visual change. All swords deal the same damage as vanilla—only their appearance on screen is different.
Can I see the historical weapon designs without disabling the main pack?
The alternate historical designs are included within the pack itself. Check your resource pack folder or the pack's file structure to find and enable alternate texture variants if available.
Does this pack work in multiplayer or only single-player?
This pack works in both multiplayer and single-player. Other players won't see your short swords unless they also have the pack installed—it's client-side only.
Which sword materials are included in the pack?
All vanilla sword materials are covered: wooden, stone, iron, diamond, golden, and netherite swords all receive the shorter blade treatment.
Does the shorter sword size actually help me see more during PvP fights?
Yes, by reducing how much screen space the blade occupies, you gain better visibility of your opponent and the surrounding area during combat.
Will this pack conflict with other resource packs I'm using?
