Share Data Packs Between Instances

Organize Data Packs Globally

Create a datapacks folder in your global directory. Place any data packs you want to share across instances here.

Load Data Packs in New Worlds

When creating a new world in any instance, the world creation screen will show both local and global data packs available for selection. Choose the data packs from your global directory that you want active in that world. The mod merges both sources, so you can pick from either location.

Apply to Existing Worlds

For worlds that already exist, you can add data packs by accessing the world's datapacks folder directly. However, using the global directory is cleaner for new worlds and ensures consistency across instances.

Testing Your Setup

Create a test world in one instance with a global data pack enabled. Load the same world in a different instance—the data pack should remain active if both instances can access the global directory.
