Enable and Disable Shared Health for Your Server

Toggling Shared Health On and Off

The Shared Health Mod uses gamerules to control whether player health is pooled together. By default, shared health may be enabled or disabled depending on your server configuration.

Enabling Shared Health

Open the chat and type:

`

/gamerule shareHealth true

`

Once enabled, all players on the server will draw from a single health pool. Any damage taken by one player reduces health for everyone.

Disabling Shared Health

To return to normal individual health bars, use:

`

/gamerule shareHealth false

`

Each player will immediately revert to their own separate health pool.

Important Notes

  • Only server operators or players with appropriate permissions can change gamerules
  • Changes take effect immediately for all connected players
  • Disabling shared health mid-session will not retroactively restore lost health to individual players
  • Consider announcing gamerule changes to your group so everyone understands the current survival rules
