Manage Which Advancements Are Shared vs. Personal
Understanding Shared Advancement Scope
The Shared Advancements Mod shares all advancements earned by team members—there is no built-in feature to exclude specific advancements from sharing. Once a teammate earns any advancement, it counts as earned for the entire team.
This means challenge advancements, story advancements, and hidden advancements are all synchronized equally.
Workaround: Separate Teams
If you want some advancements to remain personal while others are shared, consider using multiple teams. Players can only belong to one team at a time in vanilla Minecraft, so this approach requires careful planning.
Alternatively, if your server uses a permissions plugin, you may be able to create custom advancement rules that override the mod's default behavior, though this requires additional configuration beyond the mod itself.
Accept Shared Progress
The mod is designed around the philosophy that team cooperation means shared achievement. If your group prefers this style of play, embrace it as a feature rather than a limitation.
