How to Spawn Players Next to a Village or Structure

Finding the Right Coordinates First

The easiest approach is to scout in an existing world. Use the debug screen (F3) to read your current X, Y, and Z while standing where you want new players to appear — for example, on the outskirts of a village or beside a stronghold entrance.

Write those numbers down, then open the mod's config and enter them into xCoordSpawnPoint, yCoordSpawnPoint, and zCoordSpawnPoint.

Picking a Safe Landing Spot

Avoid spawning players directly inside a structure's walls or on top of a roof. Stand on open ground a short distance from the build so players have room to move and can see the structure nearby. If you are unsure about the ground height, leave yCoordSpawnPoint at its default so the mod finds the first solid block for you.

Verifying the Result

Create a new world with the config in place and check where you appear. If you land in an awkward spot, tweak the coordinates and generate another world. Remember that the spawn is baked in at world creation, so you cannot move it later without editing the world's data or starting over.

This makes the mod useful for adventure maps or servers where every player should begin with the same strategic advantage.
