How to Make Players Respawn Exactly on the Spawn Point (forceExactSpawn)
What forceExactSpawn Does
By default, Minecraft scatters respawning players around the world spawn within a small radius. The forceExactSpawn option overrides that behavior so players land precisely on your configured coordinates every time they respawn — including when they wake up from a bed.
Enabling It
Open the mod's config file and set forceExactSpawn to true. Save the file and restart the game so the change takes effect.
Once enabled:
- Dying and respawning places the player on the exact X/Y/Z you configured.
- Sleeping in a bed and waking up also sends the player to that point rather than the bed's position.
- The vanilla spawn-scatter radius is ignored entirely.
Things to Watch For
Because beds no longer act as respawn anchors, make sure your exact spawn point is somewhere safe and reachable. If it sits in a dangerous area, every death will drop the player straight back into it. If you want beds to work normally again, set forceExactSpawn back to false.
This setting is global, so it affects all players in the world, not just the host.
