Record a Specific Player's Perspective

Starting a Player Recording

ServerReplay Mod can record individual players without requiring them to install any client-side mods. This is useful for capturing gameplay, building progress, or PvP moments.

Steps:

1. Open the server configuration files and locate the recording settings

2. Enable player recording in the mod's config

3. Specify which player(s) you want to record by their username

4. Set the recording to either automatic (always on) or operator-triggered (manual start/stop)

5. If using operator-triggered recording, use the appropriate command to start recording when ready

6. The mod will generate a replay file in the designated replay folder

Accessing Your Recording

Once recording stops, the replay file is automatically saved in a format compatible with the Replay Mod. You can then use the Replay Mod's camera tools, slow-motion, and rendering features to create videos or review the footage. The replay captures all player perspectives simultaneously, so you can switch between first-person and third-person views during playback, even if the original player only saw one perspective.
