Automate Recording Without Manual Commands

Enabling Automatic Recording

ServerReplay Mod supports fully automated recording, eliminating the need for operators to manually start and stop sessions. This ensures no gameplay is missed.

Steps:

1. Open the server configuration file for ServerReplay Mod

2. Locate the automation or auto-record settings

3. Enable automatic recording mode

4. Configure which players or chunks should be recorded automatically

5. Set any optional filters (e.g., record only during specific times or when players are online)

6. Restart the server or reload the config; recording will begin automatically

7. Replay files will be generated and saved continuously

Managing Storage

Automatic recording generates replay files regularly, so storage management is important. Use the skip-unloaded feature for chunk recordings to reduce file size. Consider setting up a rotation system where older replays are archived or deleted after a certain period. Configure the mod to use a dedicated storage location separate from your world files to avoid filling your server drive. Monitor disk space regularly and adjust your recording scope (fewer players or smaller chunks) if storage becomes constrained.
