Manage Saved Chat Messages for Fake Joiner Events
Using Real Messages to Create Authenticity
The mod can capture real chat messages from your server and replay them during fake joiner events, making pranks feel more authentic and disturbing.
How Messages Are Saved
The mod automatically saves chat messages from your players as they play. These messages are stored and can be used later to create fake events where it appears that a player said something they didn't, or that a mysterious figure is repeating their words.
Clearing Saved Messages
If you want to reset the message history—perhaps to remove old conversations or start fresh—use /resetMessages. This clears all stored chat data from the mod's memory.
Strategic Use
Let messages accumulate naturally over several play sessions before using them in pranks. The more messages saved, the more authentic the fake events will feel. When you trigger a fake joiner event using a saved message, your target will be deeply unsettled seeing their own words repeated by an unknown player.
Privacy Note: Be aware that this feature stores player messages, so inform your server members that chat is being logged for mod functionality.
