How to See Which Country a Minecraft Server Is Hosted In
The whole point of this mod is answering "where is this server actually located?" without leaving the game. Here's how to read that information off your server list.
Reading the server list
Open your multiplayer server list as you normally would. Next to each server entry you should now see a small flag icon. That flag represents the country the server is hosted from, based on the server's IP address. Hover your cursor over the entry and the mod surfaces extra details in the tooltip, including the country name and your approximate distance to the server.
What the flag actually tells you
Keep in mind the flag reflects the hosting location, not the owner's nationality or where the players are from. A server run by a German community might be hosted in France, and the flag will show France. This is normal and expected.
If a flag is missing
Some servers use proxies, CDNs, or IPs that can't be geolocated cleanly, so no flag may appear. Give the list a moment to finish its lookups, then re-open the screen if icons are still blank. If a specific server never shows a flag, that's a limitation of the lookup rather than something you can fix in config.
