How to Open the Full-Screen Server Location Map

Beyond the tiny flag in the list, the mod includes a map view that plots the server's location. Here's how to reach it.

Finding the globe button

Open your multiplayer server list. Look at the lower portion of the screen for a small button with a globe icon. Clicking it opens a full-screen map. The map shows the location of the server, so you can see at a glance which region of the world you'd be connecting to.

Using the map

Select a server in the list first if the map needs a target, then click the globe. The map centers on the server's approximate location. This is handy when you're comparing several servers and want a visual sense of latency-relevant geography rather than reading country names.

Practical tips

The plotted point is approximate, derived from the server's IP, so don't expect street-level accuracy. If the map opens but shows nothing, make sure a server is highlighted in the list. Close the map with the same button or the usual screen-close key to return to your server list.
