Adjusting Color Warmth in Different Biomes
Understanding the Pack's Color Palette
Serene Horizon Glow applies a unified cottagecore color filter across biomes, but you can fine-tune how warm or cool your world feels by adjusting your game's gamma and brightness settings.
Steps to Customize Warmth
1. Open your Video Settings in-game
2. Adjust Brightness to increase or decrease overall warmth—higher values intensify the cozy tones
3. Modify Gamma to control how the soft lighting interacts with block colors
4. Test in different biomes (desert, forest, stone areas) to see how the pack's adjusted hues respond
5. Visit caves and the Nether to observe how the pack handles darker environments while maintaining its gentle aesthetic
Biome-Specific Tips
Desert and sand blocks will appear warmer and more golden under this pack. If you want them softer, lower brightness slightly. Forest greens are muted and calming—they won't pop as much as vanilla, which is intentional. Stone caves benefit from the reduced contrast; mineral ores remain visible but less harsh.
The pack preserves vanilla block shapes, so your builds won't look distorted regardless of these adjustments.
