Store Multiple Potions Without Cluttering Your Inventory

Stack Potions Efficiently

With Sensible Stackables, potions now stack up to 3 per slot instead of remaining unstackable. This is particularly useful for managing healing, buff, and utility potions during long adventures.

How to Use Stacked Potions

When you have a stack of 3 potions in one inventory slot, drinking from that slot will consume one potion and leave the remaining 2 in the slot. This works identically to how food items behave—simply right-click to drink as normal.

Organizing Your Potion Inventory

Group potions by type in your hotbar or storage chests:

  • Keep healing potions together in one stack
  • Separate buff potions (strength, speed) into their own stacks
  • Store utility potions (night vision, water breathing) separately

This approach saves significant inventory space, especially when preparing for boss fights or long expeditions. Remember that splash and lingering potions have a 1-second cooldown between uses, so you cannot spam them rapidly—plan your potion usage accordingly during combat.

Consider using labeled chests or item frames to mark which stacks contain which potion types for quick identification.
