Set Up Automatic AFK Logout

Enable and Configure AFK Logout

Prevent your account from staying logged in indefinitely by setting up automatic disconnection when you're inactive.

Steps

1. Open your mod settings and locate the afkLogout rule

2. Enable it by toggling the option on

3. Set the timeout value (must be at least 200 ticks; roughly 10 seconds per 200 ticks)

4. Optionally enable announceAFK to notify other players when you go inactive

5. Customize the AFK announcement message using announceAFKMessage

6. Set a return message with announceBackMessage to let players know you're back

Tips

• Higher tick values give you more time before logout occurs
• Enable announcements if playing on multiplayer servers where others should know your status
• The logout happens silently on your client—you'll simply disconnect from the server
• Combine with autoWalk if you want continuous movement without holding keys, though this won't prevent AFK logout
