How do I enable a feature in EssentialClient?
Open your mod config (usually accessible through a config menu or by pressing a keybind), find the rule you want to enable, and toggle it on. Most features are disabled by default, so you need to manually activate each one you want to use.
Can I use EssentialClient on multiplayer servers?
Yes, EssentialClient is purely client-side, so it works on any multiplayer server without affecting other players or violating server rules. Features like block placement, chat tweaks, and rendering changes only impact your own game.
What's the difference between stackableShulkersInPlayerInventories and stackableShulkersWithItems?
StackableShulkersInPlayerInventories lets you stack empty shulker boxes in your inventory. stackableShulkersWithItems allows shulker boxes to stack even when they contain items, which is the more powerful feature.
Does autoWalk keep me moving forever or do I need to do something?
AutoWalk continues walking in the direction you held down after releasing the key, but you'll stop if you press a movement key in a different direction or if you press the same key again to cancel it.
How do I use commandAlternateDimension to find Nether coordinates?
Use the command with your current coordinates, and it will calculate the corresponding position in the alternate dimension (Overworld ↔ Nether use a 1:8 ratio, while End coordinates don't convert).
Can I use a custom cape with EssentialClient?
Yes, enable customClientCape and configure it to use a cape file or URL of your choice. This cape only appears on your client and isn't visible to other players.
What does switchToTotem do and how do I set the health threshold?
SwitchToTotem automatically moves a totem of undying to your hand when your health drops below a set value, protecting you from death. Configure the health threshold in the mod settings to choose when this triggers.
Will EssentialClient features cause lag or performance issues?
No, EssentialClient is lightweight and client-side only. Features like rendering tweaks and visual disables may actually improve performance by reducing unnecessary visual processing.
How do I unlock all recipes at once when joining a world?
Enable unlockAllRecipesOnJoin in your config, and all crafting recipes will automatically unlock when you load into a world or server.
Can I rename multiple players locally at once?
Use commandClientNick to rename individual players locally. If you want to manage many renames, you can use commandPlayerList to execute multiple /player commands in sequence, though each rename is set individually.
