Stop the Outline from Hiding When You're Mining

Why the outline disappears

When you're holding a tool that *can* break a block, Selective Bounds Mod hides the outline to reduce visual clutter. However, if you want to see the outline at all times while mining, you can adjust this behavior.

How to keep outlines visible

Open configs/selectivebounds.json in your game folder. Look for the setting that controls outline visibility during mining or tool-holding. You can disable the smart hiding feature entirely, or configure it to only hide outlines for specific tools or block types.

If you want the outline back *only* while mining, make sure the "Temporary Visibility" setting is enabled—this ensures the outline reappears the moment you start breaking a block, even if it was hidden before.

Quick toggle

You don't need to edit the config every time. Simply hold Shift to temporarily force the outline to appear, regardless of your current tool or action. This is useful for checking block positions without changing your settings.
