How to Change or Disable the Second Chance Sound Cue

Locating the Sound Option

The mod plays an audio cue when the second chance triggers, so you know the save happened even in the middle of a chaotic fight. This cue is controlled from the mod's config file in your config folder. Open the file in a text editor and look for the sound-related entries.

Changing the Cue

You can typically toggle the sound on or off, and in some setups choose which sound plays. If the default cue is too subtle or too loud during combat, disable it and rely on your health bar instead, or swap it for a sound you find clearer. Make your edit, save the file, and restart Minecraft so the change loads.

Disabling It Entirely

If you play with your own audio setup or find the cue distracting, set the sound option to false. The second chance mechanic itself still works — only the audio feedback is removed. Test by taking a lethal hit from a mob while above the health threshold; you should survive with a sliver of health and hear nothing. If you still hear a cue, confirm you edited the correct config and that no other mod is playing a similar sound.
