Guide: Understanding the Seasons Cycle

How Seasons Work

The Seasons mod moves your world through four seasons in order: spring, summer, fall and winter. Each season changes the world around you, so the same landscape looks and behaves differently depending on where you are in the cycle.

Foliage colours shift with the season, weather patterns change, and crop growth is affected. This means farming and foraging are tied to the time of year rather than staying constant.

To check the current season, look at the world itself: the colour of leaves and grass, the weather, and how crops are growing are your main cues. If you need a clearer answer, the mod's configuration options let you control how the cycle behaves, including how long each season lasts.

Because the mod is small and single-purpose, there are no extra items or machines to craft. You simply play, and the seasons advance on their own.
