Stop Underground Caves from Getting Surface Weather

Cave Biome Weather Protection

Mods like YUNG's Cave Biomes add detailed underground areas that shouldn't experience surface weather effects. The Seasonal Integration Mod excludes these cave systems from rain, snow, and temperature changes that occur above ground.

Verifying Cave Protection

1. Descend into a cave biome from a supported mod (such as YUNG's Caves)

2. Return to the surface during rain or snow

3. The cave interior should remain dry and unaffected by surface weather

4. Snow should not accumulate inside caves

5. Rain particles should not appear underground

If Caves Still Get Weather

• Confirm YUNG's Cave Biomes or your cave mod is installed
• Check that Seasonal Integration is loaded after the cave mod
• Very deep caves may have their own weather rules that override surface effects
• Some cave biomes intentionally have weather (like lava caves)—this is intentional

Once properly configured, cave biomes automatically stay protected from seasonal surface weather without any player intervention needed.
