Seasonal Integration Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need to install all the mod packs this mod supports?
No. Seasonal Integration Mod only applies fixes for the packs you actually have installed; it safely ignores any mods you don't use. You can install just one biome mod or one farming mod and everything will work fine.
Why aren't my modded crops growing at the right time?
Make sure Serene Seasons is installed and running—Seasonal Integration Mod depends on it to control growing seasons. Check that your modded crops are included in the mod's supported list; if they're from a pack not yet integrated, they may not sync to seasonal cycles.
How do I stop snow from appearing in desert or hot biomes during winter?
Seasonal Integration Mod automatically blacklists hot biomes like deserts and badlands from receiving winter snow through its biome rules system. If snow still appears, verify that both Serene Seasons and Seasonal Integration Mod are active in your world.
Can I use this mod with custom biome packs I made myself?
Custom biomes won't automatically integrate unless they're explicitly supported by the mod. Check the mod's documentation or community guides to see if there's a way to add custom biome tags, or request support for your specific pack.
Why is my underground cave getting rain and snow from the surface?
Seasonal Integration Mod excludes supported cave biomes (like YUNG's Cave Biomes) from surface weather effects by default. If your caves are still affected, they may be from an unsupported mod or using a non-standard cave biome tag.
Do modded animals and mob variants respect seasons with this mod?
Yes—mobs from supported packs like Variants and Ventures will spawn based on the current season. Ambient mobs and animal variants from Buzzier Bees and Upgrade Aquatic also react to seasonal weather changes.
Will this mod slow down my game?
Seasonal Integration Mod is lightweight and only processes biome and crop tags at world load and during season changes. It should have minimal impact on performance compared to running multiple unsynchronized mods.
How do I know if a biome is correctly tagged as tropical or seasonal?
Load your world and observe the biome's behavior through a full season cycle—tropical biomes should stay warm year-round, while temperate biomes should show color changes and seasonal weather. You can also check the mod menu to see active integrations.
Can I use Seasonal Integration Mod without Serene Seasons?
No—this mod is built to extend Serene Seasons and requires it to function. Without Serene Seasons, there is no seasonal system for Seasonal Integration Mod to synchronize with.
Why do some modded plants still grow out of season?
Plants from unsupported mods won't be included in seasonal planting lists. Check if your farming mod is on the supported list; if not, you may need to wait for an update or manually configure the crops through game tags.
