Set Up Speed Control for Cinematic Building
Configure Your Speed Settings
Before you start building, customize the mod to suit your pace. Open the mod's settings menu and adjust the maximum speed limit to a comfortable level—lower values let you move more deliberately through tight spaces or detailed builds.
Increase the acceleration setting if you want speed changes to feel smooth and gradual, or lower it for snappier responses to your scroll wheel. This helps prevent jarring transitions when you're positioning blocks precisely.
Practice Your Workflow
Hold Alt and scroll your mouse wheel to test different speeds. Scroll down to slow down as you approach your build site, then scroll up slightly to find a comfortable working pace. Many builders keep their speed around 50–70% of normal walking speed for detailed work.
If the screen zooms uncomfortably when you change speed, disable FOV Effects in Minecraft's Accessibility Settings. This keeps your view steady while you work.
Once you find your ideal speed, you won't need to adjust it again—just hold Alt and scroll to fine-tune on the fly.
