How to Save Books to Your Computer and Transfer Content Between Books
Exporting a Book to Your Hard Drive
Scribble lets you save a book's contents to your computer so you can back it up or move it elsewhere. Open the book and use the save or export option in the book GUI. Choose where to store the file; the mod writes the book's text and formatting to a file on your hard drive. This is useful before making big edits, since you can always re-import the saved version if something goes wrong.
Importing and Copying Into Another Book
To move content into a different book, open the target book and use the load or import option, then select the file you saved earlier. The text and its formatting are written into the current book. You can use the same approach to duplicate a book: export the original, then import it into a fresh book and quill. Because formatting codes are preserved, colors and underlines carry over correctly. After importing, review the pages, adjust anything you need with the insert and remove page buttons, and save the book so the changes stick.
