Layer Multiple Screen Effects Together

Enable Multiple Overlays Simultaneously

ScreenFX allows you to stack several effects at once. Open the effects menu and enable multiple overlays—for example, combining a vignette with a color filter or bloom effect. Each effect has independent settings, so you can customize them separately.

Manage Effect Priority and Blending

When multiple overlays are active, they render in a specific order. Adjust the opacity of each effect to prevent one from completely overwhelming the others. A common setup pairs a subtle vignette with a slight color tint to enhance mood without obscuring visibility.

Balance Performance and Visuals

Stacking too many intensive effects may impact frame rate on lower-end systems. Start with two or three effects and monitor your FPS. Disable resource-heavy overlays if you notice stuttering. The mod's interface shows which effects consume more performance.

Save Effect Presets

Once you've created a combination you like, save it as a preset. This lets you quickly switch between different visual styles—one for exploration, another for building, and a third for combat scenarios.
