Unlike vanilla Minecraft, this mod stops items from automatically jumping into your inventory when you walk over them. This gives you tactical control over what you carry, which is essential for survival gameplay where inventory space and weight matter.

Step-by-step

1. Press E to open your inventory

2. Check the Vicinity column on the left for dropped items within 3 blocks

3. Scroll through the vicinity list to see all nearby ground loot

4. Hover over items to see their names and quantities

5. Drag only the items you need into your inventory slots

6. Leave unwanted loot on the ground

This manual looting system forces you to make survival decisions: Do you have room for that extra food? Is ammunition worth the space? By keeping items on the ground until you decide, you can also return later if your inventory fills up, or leave supplies for teammates in multiplayer.
