How do I turn off automatic item pickup?
The mod disables automatic item pickup by default—items on the ground no longer jump into your inventory when you walk over them. You must manually collect loot by opening your inventory screen and dragging items from the Vicinity column into your storage slots.
Why can't I see items on the ground in my inventory?
Ground items and containers only appear in the Vicinity column if they're within a 3-block radius of your character. Move closer to the loot or container you want to access, then open your inventory to see them listed.
How do I loot a chest without opening it separately?
Open your inventory near the chest—it will appear as an icon in the Vicinity column with a distance label. Click the container icon to open an inline drawer below the vicinity list, then drag items directly into your inventory without a separate window.
Can I equip armor from the ground without going to my inventory?
No, you must open your inventory screen first. Once open, you can drag armor pieces from the Vicinity column or your storage slots directly onto the survivor panel on the right to equip them instantly.
What containers work with this mod?
The mod scans for standard storage blocks like chests, barrels, and shulker boxes within the 3-block radius. Other modded containers may work depending on compatibility, but the core mechanic supports vanilla storage blocks.
