ScadeBlock Double Jump Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I perform a double jump?
Jump normally, and while you're in the air, press your sneak key (default Shift) and then press jump again. You'll perform a second jump that propels you higher or further.
What's the difference between double jump and charged jump?
A charged jump requires you to hold sneak before jumping from the ground—the longer you hold it, the higher you jump. A double jump happens after you're already airborne and lets you jump a second time.
How do wall bounces work?
When you touch a wall or solid block while falling or moving through the air, you automatically gain an extra mid-air jump you can use. This is useful for climbing vertical surfaces or navigating tight spaces.
Can I use double jump and charged jump together?
Yes—you can charge a jump from the ground for extra height, and then perform a double jump while airborne to gain even more distance or height.
Does the mod work in multiplayer?
Yes, the mod works in multiplayer servers and worlds, though all players need the mod installed to see and use the movement features consistently.
Why can't I double jump sometimes?
You can only double jump while airborne; if you're standing on the ground or a block, you need to jump first. Also make sure you're pressing sneak and jump in quick succession while in the air.
Do I need to enable anything in settings to use these moves?
No—the mod's movement features are enabled by default once installed. Check your controls menu if the default keybinds don't match your preferences.
Does this mod affect fall damage?
The mod does not reduce fall damage; you'll still take damage if you fall from a height, even if you use double jump or wall bounce to slow your descent.
Can I use these movement features while holding items or in combat?
Yes—double jump, charged jump, and wall bounce all work regardless of what you're holding or whether you're in combat.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause noticeable performance problems on most systems, though results may vary depending on your hardware and other mods installed.
