Enable Automatic Planting for Specific Sapling Types

Access the Configuration File

Locate the Saplanting Mod configuration file in your Minecraft config folder. This file controls which saplings and plants are automatically planted.

Add Saplings to the Whitelist

The mod comes with vanilla saplings enabled by default (oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak). To add saplings from other mods:

1. Open the config file in a text editor

2. Find the list of enabled saplings or plants

3. Add the sapling's registry name (format: modname:saplingname)

4. Save the file and reload your world or restart the game

Verify the Changes

Drop a sapling of the type you added on dirt or grass. It should automatically plant within 2 seconds. If it doesn't work, double-check the registry name spelling and ensure the sapling type is actually supported by the mod.

Troubleshooting

If custom mod saplings still won't plant, the mod may not recognize that sapling type. Check the mod's documentation or community forums for compatibility information.
