Safra Forge Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start hosting a world for my friends?

Open a single-player world, pause the game, and click the share button that appears in the pause menu. A join code will be generated instantly that you can give to your friends.

Can my friends join if they use a different launcher?

Yes, but you need to set online-mode=false in the mod settings first. This allows players using alternative launchers to connect to your world.

Do I need to run a separate server?

No, the mod runs directly from your game without requiring any external server software or setup. Everything happens through the pause menu.

Will this mod slow down my game?

No, the mod is designed to avoid heavy background systems, so it keeps your game running smoothly while hosting.

Can Bedrock and mobile players join my Java world?

Yes, if you also install the Geyser mod alongside Safra Forge Mod, Bedrock and mobile players can join your Java world.

How do I keep the same join code for future sessions?

Turn on Use Fixed Code=on in the mod settings, and the join code will remain the same every time you host, so your friends don't need a new code each session.

Can I use this mod with modpacks?

Yes, the mod is compatible with other mods, so you and your friends can play together with large modpacks installed.

What if my friend can't connect with the join code?

First, make sure they have the same mod installed. If they're using an alternative launcher, verify that online-mode=false is enabled in your settings. If they're on Bedrock or mobile, check that you have Geyser mod installed.

Can I change game rules while hosting?

Yes, you can adjust game rules and settings like chat behavior and item drop rules through the mod's settings menu during your multiplayer session.

Do I need to give each friend a different join code?

No, all your friends can use the same join code to enter your world. If you enable Use Fixed Code, that code stays the same across sessions.
