Find and Excavate Ancient Tools from Forest Ruins
Locating Forest Ruins
Forest ruins are scattered throughout forest biomes. Look for stone structures with suspicious gravel blocks—these are the key to finding ancient items. The ruins are relatively small compared to Challenge Towers, making them easier to spot among the trees.
Using a Brush to Uncover Loot
Once you've found suspicious gravel, equip a brush. Right-click or use your brush on the suspicious gravel blocks to carefully excavate them. As you brush, ancient items will gradually be revealed and drop. This mechanic is similar to brushing suspicious sand in vanilla Minecraft.
What You'll Find
Forest ruins yield ancient stone knives and leather shields. These tools and armor pieces are early-game quality but useful for starting players. The shields offer basic protection, while the knives serve as melee weapons. Brush multiple suspicious gravel blocks in a single ruin to maximize your haul before moving on.
