RPG-Hud Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the RPG-Hud settings menu?
Press the settings key (default is usually a configurable hotkey) while in-game, or access it through your Minecraft settings menu under mods. The settings menu lets you switch HUD styles, toggle widgets on/off, and adjust positions.
Why is my HUD showing numbers instead of bars?
You've likely selected a HUD style that displays exact values (like health points and stamina numbers) instead of visual bars. Switch to a different HUD style in the settings menu to change back to bar-based displays.
Can I hide specific widgets I don't want to see?
Yes, go to the RPG-Hud settings menu and toggle off any widgets you don't need, such as the clock, compass, or character widget. You can also set some widgets to only appear when you're holding the relevant item (like a clock or compass).
How do I move HUD elements to different positions on my screen?
Enter the HUD customization mode from the settings menu, then click and drag any element to reposition it. Each element can be moved independently to create your ideal layout.
Does this mod work with other HUD mods?
RPG-Hud Mod replaces the default HUD entirely, so it may conflict with other mods that modify the same elements. If you experience issues, check the debug settings in RPG-Hud to help identify conflicts with other installed mods.
Why can't I see mob health when I look at enemies?
The mob health widget may be disabled in your settings, or it might be positioned off-screen. Go to the settings menu to ensure the mob targeting widget is enabled and reposition it if needed.
Can I see how many arrows or blocks I'm carrying?
Yes, the mod includes an item counter widget that displays your count of specific blocks or arrow types. You can enable and position this widget in the HUD customization menu.
What's the difference between the Modern, Simple, and Hotbar HUD styles?
Each style offers a different visual layout and aesthetic—Modern uses a transparent design, Simple provides a minimal look, and Hotbar focuses on the bottom of your screen. Try each style in the settings menu to see which fits your preference.
How do I show my active status effects with timers?
Enable the status effects widget in the RPG-Hud settings menu. Once enabled, you'll see your active potion effects displayed with countdown timers, and you can resize and reposition this widget as needed.
Is there a performance impact from using this mod?
RPG-Hud Mod is generally lightweight, but disabling widgets you don't use can improve performance slightly. If you experience lag, try reducing the number of active widgets or switching to a simpler HUD style.
