How to Make rotrBLOCKS Transitions Look Seamless Between Blocks
Understanding the Transition Feature
One of rotrBLOCKS' selling points is that it beautifies the borders between different blocks so the environment feels more harmonious. This works through connected or blended textures that the pack supplies for common block pairs, such as stone meeting dirt or grass meeting path. To benefit, you need the right client support and the right block placement.
Getting Clean Transitions
1. Make sure your resource pack is enabled and loaded above any other packs that touch the same blocks.
2. Use a client that supports connected textures or the blending method the pack uses. If your client has a connected textures toggle, turn it on.
3. Place blocks so that the transition-capable faces touch each other. Random single blocks in a field will not show the effect as clearly as continuous edges.
4. Avoid stacking multiple resource packs that both modify the same block faces, since the top pack wins and can break the blend.
5. Reload with F3+T after changing pack order.
Troubleshooting
If edges look hard or mismatched, check whether another pack is overriding those textures. Temporarily disable all other packs and test with rotrBLOCKS alone. If the blend appears, re-enable packs one at a time to find the conflict. Also confirm your shader is not forcing its own texture filtering that hides the transition.
