Save Space in Your Base by Reducing Bed Count

Space-Saving Benefits

Room for Two Mod allows you to significantly reduce the footprint of sleeping areas by letting multiple players and villagers share single beds.

Planning Your Layout

1. Calculate how many beds you actually need: divide your total occupants by two (rounded up)

2. Place beds strategically in common areas rather than individual sleeping quarters

3. Use the freed-up space for storage, crafting stations, or other functional areas

Design Tips

  • Shared sleeping halls: Create one central bedroom with beds spaced for easy access
  • Villager housing: Combine villager beds with player beds to maximize compact trading areas
  • Underground bases: Reduce the vertical or horizontal space needed for sleeping chambers
  • Multiplayer bases: Eliminate the need for separate player bedrooms when sharing is acceptable

Practical Example

A base housing 4 players would normally require 4 beds. With Room for Two Mod, you need only 2 beds. This saves 2 full blocks of space that can be repurposed for farms, workshops, or decoration.

This mod is especially valuable in space-constrained builds like underground bases, sky bases, or compact multiplayer shelters.
