Prevent Losing Music Discs to Mobs

Safe Storage Strategy

Music discs are valuable drops from creepers and skeletons. Storing them in chiseled bookshelves protects them from being lost in dangerous situations.

Protection Method

1. Collect discs as you obtain them from mob drops or loot

2. Bring them to a safe location (your base, storage room, or library)

3. Place each disc in a chiseled bookshelf slot

4. Keep the bookshelf in a secure, well-lit area away from mobs

Why This Works

• Discs stored in bookshelves won't despawn if you die
• They're protected from fire, water, and explosions
• You can organize them logically so you know what you have
• Retrieving a disc is instant—just right-click when needed

Best Practices

• Store discs immediately after obtaining them
• Keep bookshelves in your main base or secure vault
• Consider backing up rare discs in multiple locations
• Use this as your primary disc storage method rather than carrying them around
