Create a Shop NPC That Sells Items

Setting Up Your Shop NPC

Shop NPCs let players buy and sell items by right-clicking. To create one:

1. Stand at the location where you want your shop NPC to appear

2. Type /rbnpc to open the creation menu

3. Select the NPC appearance (choose a mob or character type)

4. Name your NPC something descriptive like "Merchant" or "Item Seller"

5. In the command field, enter the server command that opens your shop menu (this depends on your server's shop plugin—common examples use commands like /shop or /menu)

6. Confirm and spawn the NPC

Testing Your Shop

Once spawned, right-click the NPC. If configured correctly, the shop menu should open immediately. Players can now browse and purchase items without needing to remember complex commands.

If the menu doesn't appear, verify that:

• The command you entered is correct for your server's shop system
• The command works when typed manually in chat
• You have permission to use that command
