Robbot NPC Spawner Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I create my first NPC?
Stand at the location where you want the NPC to appear, then type /rbnpc to open the creation menu. Select your NPC type and appearance, assign a command for players to trigger when they right-click it, and confirm to spawn it in the world.
Can I make an NPC that opens a shop?
Yes. When creating an NPC with /rbnpc, assign a command that opens your shop menu or interface. Players will trigger that command by right-clicking the NPC.
What happens if I want to change an NPC's command after I've spawned it?
Type /rbnpclist to open your NPC list, select the NPC you want to edit, and modify its assigned command without needing to delete and recreate it.
Can I have multiple NPCs that teleport players to different locations?
Yes. Create separate NPCs at different locations, and assign each one a different teleport command when you spawn it. Players will be teleported to whichever location matches the NPC they clicked.
Do NPCs disappear when the server restarts?
No. NPCs you create are saved to your server, so they will remain in place after a restart unless you manually delete them using /rbnpclist.
Can I spawn NPCs that look like specific mobs or custom skins?
Yes. The creation menu lets you choose the NPC's appearance type when you run /rbnpc, so you can select from various mob models or custom options depending on your server setup.
What's the difference between /rbnpc and /rbnpclist?
/rbnpc creates a brand new NPC at your current location, while /rbnpclist opens a menu showing all existing NPCs so you can edit, delete, or manage them.
Can I delete an NPC without breaking the block it's standing on?
Yes. Use /rbnpclist to open your NPC list, select the NPC you want to remove, and delete it from the menu—this removes only the NPC, not the terrain.
Do I need to know command syntax to set up an NPC?
No. The in-game menu guides you through NPC creation with simple options, so you don't need to type complex command strings—just select what you want and assign the action.
Can NPCs run multiple commands or actions when clicked?
Each NPC is assigned one primary command to trigger when right-clicked, but that command can be a custom server command that performs multiple actions if your server supports command chains or macros.
