How to Escape Danger with Riptide

Emergency Vertical Escape

When threatened by mobs or players, throw your trident upward immediately to launch yourself out of reach. Most ground-based threats cannot follow you into the air. This works in any biome and any weather condition, unlike vanilla Riptide.

Creating Distance

Throw your trident away from danger to propel yourself to safety. Combine upward and directional throws to move both vertically and horizontally away from threats. The faster launch speed compared to normal movement makes this an effective evasion tactic.

Tactical Positioning

After escaping, position yourself on high ground where enemies cannot easily reach you. Use Riptide to reach rooftops, cliff tops, or tall trees. This mod makes vertical escape routes viable even without water nearby.
