Understand Speed and Jump Height Bars
How the Bars Work
RideHud displays two separate bars for your mount's capabilities:
- Jump height bar: Shows how high your mount can jump, scaled relative to the lowest and highest possible jump heights for that species.
- Speed bar: Shows your mount's maximum speed potential, scaled relative to the slowest and fastest possible speeds.
Each mount has unique stats—a fast horse might have excellent speed but lower jump height, while another excels at jumping.
Normal vs. De-OP-ified Mode
By default, bars show your mount's maximum potential values. If you enable de-OP-ified mode in settings, the bars instead display your mount's current performance—useful for seeing real-time speed during travel or jump height as you're actively jumping.
Using This Information
These bars help you choose the right mount for your needs. If you need to clear tall obstacles, prioritize a mount with a high jump bar. For long-distance travel, look for mounts with strong speed bars.
