Interpret Your Mount's Health and Condition

Reading the Health Display

RideHud shows your mount's health using hearts, styled to match vanilla Minecraft. Each heart represents a portion of your mount's total health pool.

Understanding Transparent Hearts

When a heart appears transparent or faded, it indicates that portion of health is currently unavailable—meaning your mount has taken damage and lost those hearts. Full, solid hearts represent current active health. This visual distinction makes it easy to see at a glance how much damage your mount has sustained.

Monitoring During Travel

Keep an eye on the heart display while riding through dangerous terrain or combat situations. If hearts are disappearing, your mount is taking damage from falls, mobs, or environmental hazards. Consider:

  • Slowing down in risky areas
  • Avoiding combat zones
  • Using healing items if available

The transparent heart system ensures you never miss your mount's condition, even during fast travel.
