Use a Blaze as a Combat Mount

Preparing for Battle

Before engaging enemies, ensure your Blaze is saddled and you're comfortable with its controls. Stock healing items and consider drinking a Fire Resistance potion. Position yourself in an open area where the Blaze can maneuver freely.

Aerial Advantage

The Blaze's flight gives you height advantage over ground-based mobs. Use this to:

• Stay out of melee range
• Dodge incoming attacks
• Rain fireballs from above

Attacking Strategy

1. Fly toward your target

2. Position the Blaze to face the enemy

3. Punch repeatedly to unleash fireball volleys

4. Maintain altitude and distance

5. Retreat and reposition as needed

Limitations

Remember the Blaze itself is still hostile and will damage you. The fire damage from riding stacks with combat damage, making prolonged fights risky. Use the Blaze for hit-and-run tactics rather than sustained combat. Against flying mobs or players with ranged weapons, your aerial mobility is your best defense. Always have an escape route planned.
