Tame and Saddle Your First Blaze

Finding a Blaze

Blazes spawn naturally in Nether fortresses. Explore the Nether and look for fortress structures. Blazes typically hover near spawners or patrol the fortress corridors.

Saddling the Blaze

1. Obtain a saddle (find in loot chests, fishing, or crafting)

2. Hold the saddle in your hand

3. Approach the Blaze and right-click on it

4. The saddle will attach to the Blaze

Mounting Up

Once saddled, right-click the Blaze again to mount it. You'll be seated on its back and can now control its movement. The Blaze will respond to your camera direction and movement inputs.

Important Notes

The Blaze remains hostile even while you're riding it—it will still attempt to damage you. Expect to take fire damage while mounted. If you want to avoid this, check your mod configuration to disable fire damage during riding. Have healing items ready, especially potions or food.
