Rerolling Trades for Other Professions (Farmers, Blacksmiths, Clerics)

Professions That Benefit

While librarians get the most attention, the Retraining Mod works on any villager with no trading history. Farmers can be rerolled for better crop-to-emerald ratios, blacksmiths for useful armor or tool offers, and clerics for valuable items like ender pearls or bottles of enchanting. The same reset button appears in every villager trading menu.

How to Reroll Each Profession

1. Give the villager its matching workstation block so it takes the profession you want.

2. Open the trade menu and review the offers.

3. Click the reset button to generate fresh trades if the current ones are poor.

4. Cycle repeatedly until you find a favorable deal.

5. Complete one trade only after you are happy, which finalizes the offers.

Strategy Notes

For farmers, aim for trades that let you convert cheap crops into emeralds efficiently. For blacksmiths, look for discounted gear or useful enchanted items. For clerics, prioritize rare drops like ender pearls. Because the button only works pre-trade, gather several villagers of the same profession and reroll them in parallel, then keep only the best and trade with those. This saves time compared to rerolling one villager at a time.
