Fixing the Reset Button Not Showing Up

The Most Common Cause

The reset button only appears for villagers who have no trading experience. If you have already completed a single trade with that villager, the mod intentionally hides the button. This is by design, not a bug — the mod does not let you reroll a villager you have already done business with.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Confirm you have not traded with the villager. Check by trying to buy something cheap; if it works and the button was already gone, that villager is locked.

2. Make sure the villager actually has a profession and offers trades. Unemployed or nitwit villagers have no trade menu to reset.

3. Verify the mod is loaded and matches your game version, since a mismatched build can prevent the button from rendering.

4. Check for mod conflicts with other villager or trading mods that also modify the trading screen.

5. Try a fresh villager: spawn or transport a new one, give it a workstation, and open its menu to see if the button appears.

What to Do If It's Locked

If a villager is already locked, the mod cannot reroll it. Your options are to breed or find a new villager, or use a zombie villager cure to reset discounts (though this does not restore the reroll button). Plan ahead and reroll before trading.
