Pacify Piglins with Gold-Trimmed Armor

How Gold Trims Work

Wearing armor with gold trims grants you the same piglin-pacification effect as full golden armor. This means piglins will not attack you, allowing safe passage through the Nether without constant armor swaps.

Getting Started

1. Obtain armor with gold trims — Craft or find any armor piece (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) and apply a gold trim using the Smithing Table. You can use gold ingots or gold blocks as the trim material.

2. Equip at least one gold-trimmed piece — You don't need full coverage; even a single gold-trimmed item in your armor slots will pacify nearby piglins.

3. Enter Nether areas — Walk through piglin-inhabited biomes like Crimson Forests and Bastions. Piglins will ignore you as long as you wear the gold trim.

Tips

  • Gold trims work on any armor type and material (diamond, netherite, iron, etc.).
  • This effect stacks with other protective enchantments.
  • If you remove all gold-trimmed armor pieces, piglins will resume attacking if provoked.
