Explore Bastions Safely Without Armor Swaps

Prepare Before Entering

1. Equip gold-trimmed or Snout-trimmed armor — Before entering a Bastion, ensure at least one piece of your equipped armor has a gold or Snout trim applied.

2. Bring mining tools and weapons — You'll still need to defend against other mobs like Hoglins and Wither Skeletons, so pack appropriate gear.

3. Stock food and healing items — Bastions are dangerous; bring potions and food for emergencies.

Navigate the Bastion

• Move freely past piglins — With your trim active, piglins will not aggro or attack, letting you loot chests and explore without interruption.
• Avoid other threats — Focus on dodging Hoglins and other hostile mobs that aren't affected by armor trims.
• Collect loot safely — Grab treasure, Snout Trim templates, and other valuables without piglin interference.

Return Trips

Keep your trimmed armor in your inventory for future Bastion visits. You won't need to craft new golden armor or manage inventory space for armor swaps anymore.
