Troubleshoot Resource Pack Loading Issues

Pack Not Loading on Join

If textures appear broken or default when you join a server:

1. Check that the mod is installed and enabled in your mod folder

2. Verify the server actually uses a resource pack (ask server admins or check server settings)

3. Clear the cache (delete cached files) and rejoin to force a fresh download

4. Check your internet connection — interrupted downloads may corrupt cached files

Textures Look Wrong or Outdated

If the server updated their resource pack but you're seeing old textures:

1. The mod is likely serving an old cached version

2. Clear the cache for that specific server

3. Rejoin and let the mod download the new pack

4. Verify the download completes fully before playing

Mod Not Auto-Loading Pack on Startup

If Minecraft starts without the last server's pack applied:

1. Ensure you've successfully joined and cached a server pack at least once

2. Restart Minecraft completely

3. Check that the mod cache folder still contains the pack files

4. Rejoin the server to re-cache if needed

If issues persist, clear all cache and rejoin the server fresh.
