Optimize Minecraft Startup with Cached Packs
How Auto-Load Works
Resource Pack Cached Mod automatically applies the last server resource pack you used when you launch Minecraft. This means your textures are ready before you even join a server, saving time on connection.
Maximize Startup Speed
1. Join your main server and let the mod cache its resource pack completely
2. Exit to the main menu — the mod records this as your "last used" pack
3. Close and relaunch Minecraft
4. The cached pack will load automatically during startup
5. Join any server — if it uses the same pack, textures are instant; if different, the new pack downloads
Best Practices
- Always let resource pack downloads finish completely before leaving a server
- If you play multiple servers, end your session on your primary server so its pack is cached for next launch
- Periodically clear unused server packs to free disk space and keep startup lean
- Check that your cache folder has sufficient free space for large resource packs
Verify It's Working
After restarting Minecraft, you should see textures applied immediately in the main menu if a pack was cached. This confirms the auto-load feature is active.
