Understanding Pack Storage

Resource Pack Cached Mod stores each server's pack separately. When you join different servers with different packs, the mod caches each one independently. This means you can switch between servers without losing cached packs.

Switching Between Servers

1. Join Server A — the mod caches its resource pack

2. Leave and join Server B — the mod caches Server B's pack separately

3. Return to Server A — the cached pack loads instantly without re-downloading

Each server's pack is identified by the server address, so packs won't conflict.

Check Your Storage

If you're running low on disk space, you can selectively delete packs from the cache folder. Delete only the files corresponding to servers you no longer play on. The mod will re-download those packs if you rejoin those servers later.

Automatic Loading

The mod remembers your last-used server pack and applies it when you launch Minecraft. If you switch servers frequently, this saves time on startup.
