Clear Your Cached Resource Packs
When to Clear Cache
You may need to clear cached resource packs if a server has updated their pack, or if you're experiencing texture glitches from an old cached version. Clearing cache forces a fresh download on your next join.
How to Clear Cache
1. Open your Minecraft launcher and navigate to your .minecraft folder
2. Look for the mod's cache directory (typically in a resourcepackcached or similar folder)
3. Delete the cached .zip files or the entire cache folder
4. Restart Minecraft
5. Join the server — the mod will download and cache the current resource pack fresh
Verify the Clear Worked
You'll see the "Downloading Resource Pack" screen appear again on your next join. Once complete, the pack will be cached for future sessions. If you don't see this screen, the cache may not have been fully cleared — check that you deleted files from the correct directory.
After clearing, rejoin the server multiple times to confirm the pack loads instantly on subsequent attempts.
